The mission of the Paws for Love Foundation is to provide resources and funding to shelters, rescue groups, and individuals dedicated to improving the health, welfare, and adoptability of unwanted and abused animals.

Our ONLINE AUCTION was a great success. Thank you to everyone who participated. The Paws for Love Foundation provides a vital safety net for shelter and rescue animals in need of assistance in finding a permanent home - whether it be an injured homeless pet who requires a lifesaving surgery, reimbursement of adoption fees for seniors, or other rescue-related expenses. Many of these pets would perish without the funding we provide. They come to us frightened, traumatized, and homeless through no fault of their own. We believe each one deserves a second chance. We give them hope.

*** Due to the COVID-19 crisis, priority of funding will be restricted to sick and injured pets – if your request falls into another of our eligible programs, please apply later in the year. Grants at this time are capped at $500.00. |

One of Wine Country's favorite winter charity events, the annual "Paws for Love" Gala benefits the animals of Sonoma County and the Western States. Our February Valentine-themed gala, featuring artwork painted by talented shelter animals, silent and live auctions, and award-winning wines is only one of our fundraising efforts. Throughout the year we participate in smaller events and with your support we can do even more: fund more surgeries, expand our senior-to-senior "Silver Paws for Love" adoption program, and save the lives of more pets! The Paws for Love Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit organization and depends upon your tax deductible donations to enable us to accomplish our mission of helping homeless pets in need. |
