What We Do...

The Paws for Love Foundation is a resource for shelters and rescue organizations in the Western States.
We offer:
* Funding assistance for emergencies
* Support for rescue efforts
* Spay & Neuter clinics to reduce the number of unwanted pets
* Adoption promotion
* Home to the "Silver Paws for Love" Senior-to-Senior adoption program

The mission of the Paws for Love Foundation is to provide resources and funding to shelters, rescue groups, and individuals dedicated to improving the health, welfare, and adoptability of unwanted and abused animals. The Paws for Love Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit organization, and all donations to our organization are tax-deductible.

Paws for Love is a volunteer non-profit foundation. We depend solely on donations and the proceeds from our events to accomplish our mission of assisting animals at risk.

The heart of our annual February fundraising gala—called "Paws for Love"—is a captivating gallery of paintings created by shelter and rescue animals. In addition to the sale of these paintings, we also feature a grand benefit auction—both silent and live–with vacation getaways, services, merchandise, pet-related packages, and award-winning wines.

Funds raised from this event, as well as from smaller events held throughout the year and private donations, greatly benefit the animals of Sonoma County, the Bay Area, and beyond. The Paws for Love Foundation provides funds to rehabilitate adoptable animals by providing necessary medical treatment, rehabilitation, and adoption expenses, for animals in shelters and foster care programs.

Here are a few of the groups and individuals who have received funding from the Paws for Love Foundation so far this year, 2017:

Little pup T Rex was born with deformed front legs. He had been abandoned in a parking lot by a man selling puppies...he left the little pup behind when no one wanted him. His life was saved when he was picked up by a kind woman and rescued by California Animal Rescue. Paws for Love assisted with funding to repair one of his front legs...he is currently recovering happily in his foster home, running and playing on his 3 "good" legs!

Surgery to repair his leg soon followed, and he has made an excellent recovery! He now lives in his new "forever" home with his mom and dad...and an identical white furry dog brother.
